Most Saturdays the Gibbs House (circa 1920) is open to tour – a tour guide is on hand to take you through the house.
Newly reopened in 2022, the Stearns house (circa 1850s) is open for tours (when we have a tour guide available).
Both houses are museums furnished in the period era.
We are always on the lookout for volunteers to help with house tours… if interested, please email your interest to StearnsHomestead@gmail.com or stop in on a Saturday and let’s talk.
While there is no admission fee for weekend visits, we are grateful for all donations. The farm staff is all-volunteer. All donations are used to maintain the homestead museums and help provide veterinary care, feed, and bedding for the farm animals.
